I provided a complete branding and website design for Sidecar Furniture, the collection of custom-designed and built furniture by craftsman David Johnson.
Site design includes the aesthetics, of course – what you see, the colors, the fonts and the layout, but it is also the development and arrangement of ideas. Ideas about who you are and what you have to offer.
It's my job to bring visual order to those ideas in a way that facillitates your goals. Should your messages be about products or services, about sharing ideas, or simply for entertainment, your successful website has to represent exactly who you are and what you do as clearly and as effectively as possible.
I specialize in clean, attractive, lightweight and scalable websites.
What does “clean” mean? That means sites which are attractive, intuitive and user-friendly, which don’t lose the point in a lot of visual clutter. The message is always at the front and the design supports, underscores and enhances it.
"Clean" also means I use the latest best practices to produce the lightest, most sturdy and search-engine friendly websites that are thoroughly tested for the major platforms and browsers. No surprises, no glitches and no gobbelty-gook from bad web development tools.
What does “scalable” mean? It means I create websites that can grow with you. They are cutting edge without the short-sighted trends. They are built to last and to be built upon.
