In the Biz:

I’ve been working in graphic & web design since 1998. Yes, that’s a long time, especially in Internet years. But I love it. The web is constantly evolving and there is always more to do and try in graphic design. I am constantly inspired and challenged!

Other Biz:

In addition to strictly design/development work, I’ve been a writer, editor, web editor, and electronic publishing director for a large publishing company. Because I’ve donned all these various hats, I understand the moving parts of a business and the need to communicate ideas effectively. It also means you get more than just a “web guy” or “designer guy,” but a strategic partner.

Things that I love:

My family.

My wife and son are my world.

Music:

I play music when I can. I’ve played trumpet in a number of bands over the years. Now I mostly play guitar (badly) for my son, that is, before he becomes old enough to become a critic.

Art:

If you haven’t checked him out, you must see the work of Stuart Davis. My favorite American painter.

When I’m not designing something:

I’m changing a diaper, mowing the lawn or finding some new artful way to burn something in the oven.
